"I was searching for direction when faced with a financial and emotional crisis in my life. Ed's guidance provided me with the impetus I needed to re-energize my life. I never dreamed the difference [a coach] could make in my life.... it should be called "Bull's Eye Coaching" because you helped us reach our target!...[You] got us to the point we were seeking. ...I now know what is more important in life, and desire everyday to be the best person I can be. Also, I realized the importance of setting priorities and setting goals. Since I have been working with Ed, I have read through the Bible, attend church regularly, have a great relationship with my 4 children, started a new business that is growing and doing great in difficult economic times.... To SUM Ed up in two words: God's Gift." Marjorie A, Owner, Construction Co., North GA "I was in a situation where I had no direction or drive pushing me to succeed. I was not sure exactly who I was, and I was influenced greatly by what others thought. I was looking to find a purpose for my life and find out who I was inside. Mr. Ed helped me to find my inner values and mission, and map out the crucial stages in my life. Also, he helped me build my self-esteem. I went from where I was, to now being on my way to my future career." Tucker A, Graduated North Georgia at 19, headed to Veterinarian School. Dahlonega, GA "I have learned so much just "sitting at your feet" each week. (Like Morie) Thank you for your interest in helping me become a better person." Linda M, Entrepreneur "Your Ed-isms have been something I always look forward to...sitting on the sideline was not acceptable and may the lessons I've learned shine through the life I lead... You have inspired me with your ability to take what life throws your way and accept it. Your DiSC© training has gone a long way in helping me to understand others, but more importantly it helped me understand myself...." Jim and Marilyn W., Adult Learning Students "Bottom line, and I know you like to get there quickly, is that you have been, and continue to be, an outstanding example of Christian love to all those you come in contact with. " Howard C. Ret. U.S. Army, Church Elder | "After years of owning my own business, raising my son, and being a wife, I found that I had lost my focus and I seemed to be drifting through life.... I decided that I needed to re-focus my life, and I needed to determine where I wanted to go. Mr. Ed was recommended to me by someone who had heard him speak at a community event. Since working with Ed, he has helped me think through my values and mission in life. He has given me many tools to help me understand myself and others better. From his encouragement and insight, I have developed goals for my key life areas and established timetables for completion.... He has helped me identify my strengths and assisted me in finding opportunities to turn my weaknesses into strengths. I feel blessed that Mr. Ed came into my life when he did. I am a better person. I am focused. I am rejuvenated. I know what I want and I'm going to get there. I am in a continual growth pattern and I am looking forward to what is around the corner. Thanks Mr. Ed. Margaret D., CPA Cumming, GA "...Your encouragement, humor, and "Ed-isms" have molded a foundational component within my framework that forevermore has changed my presence and destiny. Thank you. Your student, friend and brother in Christ. You helped convince me of what I should be building." Robert H., Architect, Alpharetta, GA "When a friend and co-worker recommended me to Ed Johnson, I had just lost my Grandmother that I had been living with and taking care of due to cancer.... After she passed away I was completely alone...I felt completely worthless. While I still had my job, I felt like I was a waste of oxygen and didn't understand why God would ...leave someone like me here....I didn't feel I was worth the time or .... and frankly if I didn't have to get out of bed, I didn't. .... I needed to have some sense of accomplishment or pride in myself or my work. I needed a reason to get out of bed and live. I started meeting with Ed once a week, we did the personality profile, worked on finding my spiritual gifts and created my mission statement....gave me the courage and determination to live my life for me, because I can still be useful and helpful to others just by getting out there in the real world and being me. It is OK to be a home body, but now I take chances and use every opportunity I can to help others.... ....his mantra keeps me going every morning and his prayers uplift me when I'm down. He is a great mentor and motivator, no matter what area of your life needs some work, he can help you see yourself in a new light or increase the light inside of you. Thank you Ed, you will always be an inspiration to me." Tammy E., Office Manager Alpharetta, GA (Now happily married and living life to its fullest!) "Ed, What a job you did on Sat. morning for Leadership Georgia. A standing ovation no less! And, at that, well deserved. What a speaker! The crowd and most especially the Program Chairs loved you! ..We were truly sorry not to have more time to spend with you....Again, thanks for an outstanding, very professional, and truly moving hour!" "I was/am a busy wife/mother with 2 children, one of which is a special needs child diagnosed with autism. This diagnosis really changed the dynamics of typical family life. We were trying to come to a place of "normalcy" and acceptance during a very confusing time. We became exhausted and overwhelmed. The demanding schedule and busy-ness we experienced during this time caused both me and my family to feel completely overwhelmed and out of control.I needed to figure out what was causing the most stress and wanted to find ways to alleviate it- realizing that we could not keep going at this pace/rate very long. We needed change and perspective. Ed helped me realize that there were some simple changes that could be made relatively easily that would help us regain control of our lives. Things we were seeing as problems somehow changed to opportunities. We cut back on therapies and activities that were actually draining us instead of energizing and helping. Ed taught us how important it is to have a plan/mission and not to let 'life live you instead of you living your life on/with purpose.' Ed has great insights and tools that can help in any arena of life. Thanks, Ed!" Y Graves Cumming, GA (Has since had the confidence to add another child to the family and managing well.) | "When I first began...I was going through issues with my mother that had stemmed from her depression and negative behaviors. I was desperate for answers in how to deal with her in a firm, but loving, way. I have known the Johnsons for years and was impressed at how [they] used God's word to deal with everyday situations... guided me in finding not only my purpose in life, but the purpose that God had for my life, and how to have a more rich and joyful life. This...was truly life transforming. Before this course and working through the worksheets, I dealt with EVERYTHING negatively, much like my mother. My negativism had really begun to take a toll on my marriage and children. My behavior was also fueling my mother's conduct towards my entire family... The Johnsons taught me how to not only follow my purpose and passion in life, but that that purpose would always lead me in a positive direction. Today, I still use the strategies learned and am happy to say that I now lead a more positive and purposeful life! Aimee S., Teacher, Cumming, GA |
