"I was/am a busy wife/mother with 2 children, one of which is a special needs child diagnosed with autism. This diagnosis really changed the dynamics of typical family life. We were trying to come to a place of "normalcy" and acceptance during a very confusing time. We became exhausted and overwhelmed.
